Last night was our fifth unit meeting. As we went into the hall we were told to take some toilet roll for the next game...interesting. For each sheet of paper we had to say a fact about ourselves and lots of people seemed to have dead pets and bikes. We learnt lots about Rhys, who took 36 sheets of toilet paper! We then turned to the soft play area at the front of the hall. Many people were rolled around into tubes and had tunnels thrown over their heads. We then played a game where we had to act out a scene of a film and everyone else had to guess it. After turning a long padded tube into the Titanic, and a few mats into the empire state building with King Kong on it throwing plastic bananas into a bin, we cleared the floor, put mats out and two people had to go into the middle on one leg with their arms folded and try and knock each other off the centre mat. We then went back to just playing randomly in the soft play area. After lots more chaos, avoiding having exercise balls fall on your head and being tripped up by giant elastics we calmed down and as a group decided that for our Christmas party we wanted to go around IKEA playing hide and seek, failing that, go to laser quest. We then were given our UK neckerchiefs
,
our two official UK contingent badges
and a catalogue of lots of stuff we can buy for the Jamboree which I am currently using to annoy my parents by telling them that I wants everything in it. We then did the flag, had a prayer and went home
