Weekend camp at woodhouse park

Last weekend was our third camp as a unit. We started on Friday evening and since then every ones musical instruments, that were brought on camp, hardly stopped playing! After some "speed dating" went to bed - at 1-2 ish. The next morning we had breakfast before having our group photos and individual photos. We then started doing various activities throughout the day that included; Archery, rifle shooting, orienteering, beading and - underwear washing. We were also visited by the head of the UK contingent (very important person) who mentions his visit in his blog @ http://www.ukcontingent.org.uk/blog/. We then relaxed for a while until a jacket potato tea. Afterwards we had a big campfire and then, some more beading which everyone got a bit obsessed about. We then went to bed at about 1-2 ish. After breakfast the next morning we were told about some kit that would be very useful to have in Sweden by Kevin. We then started our "glee band" which sounded pretty awesome - my toy plastic drum was very effective :). After this we set about cleaning the centre and then, after playing cards and eating ice cream on the grass...it was time to go home :(
